Charity

Ledgestone has worked closely with several charities for the last decade. Every year Ledgestone aims to raise funds for several organizations. Over the last several years St Jude Children’s Research Hospital has been the largest beneficiary. Other beneficiaries have included the Paul McBeth Foundation, Easter Seals, EDGE and the South Side Mission. Since 2014 Ledgestone has given $532,000 to charity with a goal of hitting $1,000,000 by 2025.

St Jude’s mission statement is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

St Jude has a large presence at the annual Ledgestone event with an army of volunteers present working the event. The Central Illinois region is home to a large Children’s Hospital in downtown Peoria, and each year a patient from St Jude throws out the ceremonial first putt at the event.

The mission of the Paul McBeth Foundation is to develop and introduce sustainable disc golf experiences in underserved locations with limited or no access to the sport. Ledgestone Disc Golf CEO Nate Heinold is one of the founding members of the Foundation and serves as the Chairman of the Board. Ledgestone has been involved in several projects, including Colombia and Africa.

The Ledgestone Open, with the enormous support of Discraft, is proud to support disc golf and the local community.
